Hello!

Betty died at 86 from Alzheimer’s Disease.  We shared her 11 year journey on social media and millions of people fell in love with her.  We continue to advocate for and share about Alzheimer’s Disease in her memory.

Over the years, we have appreciated all your gifts, cards and letters…. BUT let’s do something biggger and help MORE people by putting an end to this horrible disease!

Betty Pettit Caregiver Scholarship

 

November is Family Caregiver Month. Today, in honor of my mother, we are pleased to announce the Betty Pettit Caregiver Scholarship. We will award the first scholarship on my mother’s birthday, December 1st. 

This scholarship will be awarded to someone caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia at home. Scholarship can be used for respite care, medical devices, medication or transportation. For complete details, and to apply click the button below. Betty Pettit, who gained viral fame for sharing her journey with Alzheimer’s disease, died at age 86 on July 19.
